| Sponsored Cycleride - Tour de Moor - 9th October 2011
Ryearch Ltd are pleased to announce that they raised £1124.35 for St Lukes Hospice. 'Team Ryearch' undertook this gruelling 35 mile cycle ride from Plymbridge, Plympton to Princetown and back, via Yelverton and Meavy in particularly testing weather. | Midland House
Ryearch have been appointed to undertake the refurbishment and remodelling of Midland House on behalf of Plymouth City Council.
The works include the refurbishment and remodelling of 2000msq of office space over 4 floors.
This £300,000 project commences mid November 2011, with an expected completion date of March 2012.

| Ryearch secure contract to undertake refurbishment works to Priory RC Primary
Ryearch have been awarded the contract to complete refurbishment works to Priory RC primary school, Torquay.
The works include internal refurbishment of male and female toilets and changing facilities, along with storage rooms, and external alterations.

| Weston Mill Primary Phase 2
Phase 2 of refurbishment works to Weston Mill Primary school have now been completed.
The works included refurbishment and remodeling of existing classrooms, which were converted into male/female WC's, ICT teaching facilities and new classrooms.
Further works are programmed in for February 2012

| Plympton Library Topping Out
A Topping out Ceremony was held on Friday 23 September, to mark the Completion of roof works on the new library. Building work began in June and we expect the library to be completed by February. It is being constructed on the same site as the original library, which burnt down in 2008. The new library will be 50 per cent bigger than the original and will cover 458sq m. In it will be a large meeting room that can be booked by the local community, a quiet room with computers, a staff room and toilets. Plans for the new build were approved in December 2010 and, following a competitive tender process, the council appointed Ryearch Construction as the main contractor. | West End Regeneration Scheme Award
A major regeneration scheme which brought a new look to Plymouth's West End has scooped a national design award. The £3.2 million project to transform roads, pavements and landscaping in the West End of Plymouth City Centre has received the 2011 Urban Transport Design Award. Judges praised the scheme, which was officially opened in December 2009, for the way it was implemented and the positive results in terms of 'safety, movement, inclusiveness and accessibility.' The scheme was a partnership between Plymouth's City Centre Company, Plymouth Transport and Highways (a partnership between Plymouth City Council and Amey), local urban designers LHC and contractor Ryearch. Representatives from Plymouth City Council and Plymouth City Centre Company were presented with the award at the Annual Transport Practitioners Meeting in Liverpool.

| New School Projects
Work starts today on refurbishment works to Weston Mill School. The work comprises a new commercial kitchen, with dining area, together with various improvements to the school. In August we will also be commencing another kitchen project at Hyde Park School, Plymouth

| New Project Started - Plympton Library
We have started a £650,000 library new build. The existing library was burnt down in 2008, a temporary library has taken its place in the meantime. We are very pleased to be associated with this prestigious scheme, funded by Plymouth City Council. The picture shows the turf cutting ceremony performed by the leader of the Council, Vivien Pengelly, with Richard Curtis our Managing Director in the background.

| Iso 14001 Environmental Management Standard
Ryearch are pleased to announce, that we have now achieved ISO 14001 accreditation. After a 12 month strategic plan, considerable staff and operative training, we have achieved our goal. This will not mean that we will rest on our (green) laurels, our Environmental Policy is part of our culture and we will continue to push forward our procedures and green credentials.

The project involved the demolition of an existing cavity wall and the erection of a single storey extension to form a new foundation classroom. | Lopwell Dam New Visitor's Centre
Work has commenced on a £140k refurbishment and upgrade of Lopwell Dam Pump House. This is the conversion to a visitor's centre.

| Pelynt Children's Centre, Cornwall
Completion of a fast track detached children's centre, in the village of Pelynt. This was a timber framed building with larch facings, valued at £400,000. The Client and professional team were all very pleased with the project that was completed on time, within an overall construction period of 18 weeks

| Saltash School New Project
Work has started on an extension to the school, approximate value £400,000. The work will be carrying on into 2011. Refurbishment works in the 6th form unit will also be carried out during the summer holidays

| New Children's Centre Contract
We have been awarded a new contract for a Children's Centre at Pelynt near Looe, for Cornwall Council. The scheme is timber frame construction with larch facings. The project is due for completion at the end of 2010

| Cumberland Gardens, Devonport
A further urban regeneration scheme has been completed, with Amey and Plymouth City Council. The project value was £170,000. It included infilling the underpass, hard and soft landscaping to the park area

| Ratcliffe School Dawlish
Two of the accommodation blocks have been refurbished, providing upgraded facilities. Approximate value £300,000. The Client's comments, 'We are really pleased with the finish and the space'

We have just received instructions to proceed with a refurbishment and extension of this school, near Newton Abbot. This is a 17 week project to an approximate value of £250k

| Lusty Glaze, New House Completion
We have just completed this spectacular and luxurious house adjacent to Porth Beach, Newquay. This was a 12 month contract in excess of £1.2million for a private client. The property is built over 3 levels, including an inside swimming pool.

| St Mewan School, Phase 1 completion
The first phase of this school extension has been handed over. The building is full of green credentials. This is part of a £1m scheme, with final completion due at the end of February 2010

| Plymouth City West End Regeneration Scheme
We have completed this £2million scheme on time. This contract with Amey and Plymouth City Council involved some 9000m2 of granite paving, 2000m of kerbs, together with bitmac surfacing, tree planting and street furniture.

| Green roof installed, St Mewan School
Our new 4 classroom extension (£1million) for Cornwall Council is running to programme. The eco green roof has been installed and is looking very plush.

| West End Urban Regeneration, Plymouth
Our 30 week, £2million project to repave the West end of Plymouth City is on programme. This is a project with very complex programming. Work has to be carried out with the least disruption to shoppers and retailers, whilst still moving 2000 tonne of materials through the city.
